We strive to produce healthy dogs with sound temperaments that are wonderful companions and can successfully compete in both the breed ring and performance events.

About Us

I brought my first Wheaten home when I was a graduate student in 1991. I knew I wanted to compete in dog sports and Bailey became CH Lontree Buoyant Bailey CDX OA AD. He was the first Wheaten to achieve the USDAA AD title jumping 24". My second Wheaten joined me when Bailey was two. Shooter (CH Waterford Just A Second CDX OA OAJ CGC) was the foundation of our breeding program, all of the Ceili Wheatens are her descendants. Shooter had a great temperament and lived seventeen years. I breed Wheatens on a limited basis, my first litter was in 1997. My husband has owned Wheatens since 1997. In 2007 a delightful poodle joined our family. In 2018 we brought home our first Schapendoes (Caper) and she has been a perfect addition to our family (my husband, myself and our three teenagers). We will have our first Schapendoes litter December 2022. I am a member of the national Wheaten club, the Denver Wheaten club and the Canadian Schapendoes club.

Ceili Wheatens

In Irish, ceili (pronounced KAY-lee) is a term for a social gathering or party. Wheatens love to be part of any group!

Spryng Schapendoes

Schapendoes are a Dutch breed. Spryng is a variety of tulip (and Schapendoes also have a very springy gait).
